With a history dating back to the 15th Century, shochu has enduring popularity in Japan being the most common alcoholic beverage. With a more complex and sophisticated taste than Vodka, and more subtle and less botanical than Gin, shochu is suitable for many occasions and consumers.

A classic Honkaku (authentic) 本格焼酎 shochu, Koyomi™ Shochu is produced using Japanese methods and brought to you by the master distillers at Beam Suntory in Japan. Single distilled from barley and koji (麹), this shochu retains its unique flavour which means that you can enjoy it straight up, over ice or the Japanese way as a Chu-Hi (shochu highball).

Koyomi™ Mimosa

• 60ml KOYOMI™ SHOCHU
• 60ml Fresh Orange Juice
• Top with Sparkling Wine
• Garnish with Orange Peel

Add all ingredients to a champagne flute and garnish with orange peel.

Koyomi™ Spritz

• 60ml KOYOMI™ SHOCHU
• 60ml Dry Sparkling Rose Wine
• 60ml Soda Water

Add all ingredients to an ice filled glass and stir briefly before garnishing extravagantly with fruits of the season and a voluptuous mint sprig.

Koyomi™ Blush

• 60ml KOYOMI™ SHOCHU
• 30ml lime juice
• 15ml lychee juice
• 30ml pineapple juice
• 5ml raspberry syrup

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 30 seconds. Strain into chilled cocktail glass with ice and garnish with single lychee.

Koyomi™ Martini

• 60ml KOYOMI™ SHOCHU
• 10ml Dry Vermouth
• 2 drops Olive Brine

Add Koyomi, Vermouth and Olive brine to a mixing glass filled with ice and stir to chill. Strain into a prechilled fancy glass and garnish with a single green olive.

Koyomi™ Sour

• 60ml KOYOMI™ SHOCHU
• 30ml Lemon Juice
• 15ml Sugar Syrup
• Dash of Eggwhite (optional)

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake very hard for 30 seconds. Strain into a short glass with ice and garnish with a few drops of aromatic bitters.

Koyomi™ Buck

• 60ml KOYOMI™ SHOCHU
• 15ml Lime Juice
• Spicy Ginger Beer
• 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters

Add all ingredients to a tall ice filled glass and stir briefly before garnishing with a slice of lime and mint sprig.

Koyomi™ Daquiri

• 60ml KOYOMI™ SHOCHU
• 60ml Ruby Red Grapefruit juice
• 15ml Agave Syrup
• Dash Eggwhite (optional)

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake very hard for 30 seconds. Strain into chilled cocktail glass with ice and garnish with an extravagant wedge of grapefruit.

Koyomi™ Tommy's

• 60ml KOYOMI™ SHOCHU
• 30ml Lime Juice
• 15ml Agave Syrup

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake very hard for 30 seconds. Strain into chilled cocktail glass with a salted rim and garnish with a zest of lime.
